Prayer Candles
  1. We Believe in  one eternal Godhead, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost. (Romans 1:20, 1 John 5:7)

  2. We Believe in the eternal pre-existence of the Son of God as the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. (Revelations 13:8)

  3. We Believe that Jesus Christ was miraculously conceived of the Holy Ghost by the Virgin named, Mary. He voluntarily made Himself lower than the angels that He might suffer and taste death for every man. (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Hebrews 2:14-18)

  4. We Believe that Jesus Christ lived a sinless life, that He died on the cross atone for the sins of men; that He was buried on the day of Passover; that He was in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights (72 hours). (II Corinthians 5:21; Matthew 12:40; Hebrews 9:26)

  5. We Believe that on the Day of Pentecost, Jesus confirmed His High Priest ministry by filling the Early Church with the Holy Ghost; thereby, giving them power for service (Acts 2:34)

  6. We Believe that the whole Bible is the inspired Word of God and that the true doctrine for faith, practice, government and discipline must be determined from the New Testament, witnessed by the Law and Prophets (II Timothy 3:16).

  7. We Believe in the total brotherhood of the Christian community and in the higher calling (the Bride, New Jerusalem) (Phillippians 3:14)

  8. We Believe that Jesus Christ came into the earth not only to die for man’s sins but also to establish the Church of God according to the divine pattern (Matthew 16:18; Hebrews 8:5; Acts 20:28)

  9. We Believe that the Church (the Bride, New Jerusalem) is the focal point for the fulfillment of prophecy and that prophecy is the primary witness (Revelation 21:2; 21:10)

  10. We Believe that Jesus established the Apostolic Order of Government (Theocracy) for the Church with one Anointed Leader, Twelve Apostles, Seventy and Two Prophets, and Seven Men of Wisdom. This order is to be restored in the Last Days (Acts 3:20-21; Acts 15:16-18)

  11. We Believe that all matters of doctrine of the Church (called Apostles’ Doctrine) have been and must be settled in the Council of Apostles and Elders (Ren.). (Acts 2:42; Acts 15:1-2)

  12. We Believe that all men err and that Jesus Christ, alone, proved to be infallible; therefore, we do not equate verbal utterances ( prophesying) with the written Word of God (Acts 1:3).

  13. We Believe that both the Old Testament and the New Testament predicted the apostasy of the Early Church and that although the Kingdom of God continued through the Dark Ages, the Church ceased to exist in 325 A.D. with the uniting of Church and State (Acts 20:29).

  14. We Believe that following the restoration of the Fundamental Doctrines of Faith through the Protestant Movement, the Church of God was resurrected from the Dark Ages according to prophecy in 1903 by Prophet A.J. Tomlinson (Jeremiah 30:21; Psalm 65:4; Isaiah 60:1).

  15. We Believe in Water Baptism by immersion and in The Seven Baptisms (Spiritual); namely, The Baptism of Repentance (Spiritual Circumcision-New Birth); The Baptism of Blood (Sanctification-Holiness); The Baptism of The Holy Ghost (Spirit of Truth); The Baptism of Death (Resurrection-New Body-Change); The Baptism of Fire (Sealing-Acceptance-Perfection); and The Baptism into the Body (Hebrews 6:2)

  16. We Believe in the full restoration of the nine spiritual gifts to individuals in the Church, male or female and the five gifts of the ministry to men; however, we do honor and recognize our ladies who have the anointed ability to lead as prophetesses (female prophets). There are also two degrees given: namely, Deacon and Bishop that are to aid in the perfection of the saints (I Corinthians 14:1, 12; Ephesians 4:11; I Timothy 3:1-2, 13).

  17. We Believe in the ordinances of the New Testament known as The Lord’s Supper (unleavened bread and wine) with the washing of the saints’ feet and water baptism. We also break bread as Jesus did after His resurrection and continue in the Apostles’ doctrine just as the Early Church. We recognize the Feasts of the Lord known as Passover, Pentecost and Tabernacles in their times and seasons, but do not infer to their observance in a mandatory manner.

  18. We Believe in the pre-millennial second-coming of Jesus, to rule and reign with His Bride, (the Church) for one thousand years (Revelation 20:6).

  19. We Believe in eternal life for the righteous and eternal punishment for the wicked (John 3:16; II Thessalonians 1:9).
