Chief Bishop of The Church of God, Grady R. Kent, declares himself to be in the spirit and power of the Beloved Disciple John, The Revelator.  Christ promised the Beloved Disciple John that he (John) would be here as the Servant making preparations for His (Christ's) return and was to rebuild the Tabernacle of David, which is the Holy temple of the Lord, Jerusalem, the Church.  Scriptures he uses as his authority to claim this inheritance are John 21:20-24.  The will of Jesus was the he (John) be tarrying (waiting) at his return.  This was a teaching of t he New Testament Church.  The Beloved John put special emphasis upon this statement made by Jesus in his own writings.

Another Scripture he uses to declare himself to be this prophet, since he was born again of the spirit, becoming a Son of God, is found in the 87th Psalm, "...when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there."  In the dispensation of grace, prophets are made of God at this new birth and not at the birth of the flesh.

Another Scripture used, declaring his last days revelation of the work at the end of all things, is found in Revelation 1:1-3 and Isaiah 29:11-12.  The point of these two Scriptures  is the "Vision of All" given in Revelation to John by Jesus to be revealed to his servants at the end of the world.  Another Scripture used by Bishop Kent is Revelation 10:11 and 11:1-3, a promise here to John to return to the world and preach again before many peoples and nations, and tongues, and kings.  He asks the people to believe him for his works' sake.  In 1932, he revealed, "Fields of the Wood" in Cherokee County, North Carolina.  In 1943, he was appointed to write the Vision and he searched out and designed it according to the 21st chapter of Revelation, the Heavenly Pattern in the fulfillment of Habakkuk 2:2-3; and Psalm 132:6. 

Another witness used by Bishop Kent is the searching out of the revelation of aviation, that is of the last days' gospel being airborne in the fulfillment of Revelation 1:4-6, Ecclesiastes 10:20, Isaiah 60:8-9, Ezekiel 10:1-7.  Bishop Kent became the 'Voice of the Bird of the Air', crying at the airports of America as John the Baptist, in the power and return of Elias, was the voice crying from the wilderness.

To the Isles of the Sea, he declared in Isaiah 6:9 to the Isles that "me" to be him that flies with the everlasting gospel to the Isles.  Another witness of Bishop Kent is the revealing and organizing of the revelation of Joel's Army in connection with Jesus sending out the final message into the highways and hedges, and declared Joel's horses and horsemen to be motorcycles ridden by ministers of the gospel, upon the highways and from city to city.

This man now declares the invading of the rivers and the seven oceans of the world, to be another Volume of the Book, witnessing him to be in the Spirit and Power of the Beloved Disciple John, the Revelator.

He has in the front yard at his home, the new Christian name that reveals him.  He rides the sidecar of his motorcycle as a principle witness of riding the foal led by Jesus when he entered Jerusalem, riding upon an ass.  Many other Scriptures are used by him to make his declaration more clear.
