SPIRIT TO "POSSESS THE LAND" RECEIVED at 55th Annual World-Wide Assembly "Gilgal Marker Set-Up (12 Apostles)" "Let Us Now Reap"

The Canaan land of our day is as the Garden of Eden before us.  God's people rested, but not until the possession of the Land of Canaan and to possess meant many wars and victories.  When we read the words of Jesus in St. John 4:35, it gives a clear understanding of the true meaning of harvest in our day.  Israel's harvest was of the material things of the land, ours is of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God and of spiritual things, revelations and understandings.

The Church is to possess these things, John 4:35, "Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest?  behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes, and look on the fields for they are white already to harvest."  Further on in this chapter, verse 38, Jesus again makes it more clear that he was going to send the church to reap whereon they bestowed no labor.  In the face of this Scripture, it again takes us to the principle of the children of Israel possessing the land of Canaan, a country in which they had bestowed no labor; and yet, became their inheritance.  Let us notice the words of God in the Book of Joshua, the 3rd chapter, verse 15 -- they were commissioned to cross into the land of Canaan at "harvest time."  These other nations had inhabited it with cities and worked hard to cultivate and plant it with corn of the land and all other fruits.  Nevertheless, Israel was commanded to harvest it and in Joshua 3:15, we find, that their crossing was at harvest time.

"And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest)."  It has further been said in regard to the land of Canaan that it was a land overflowing with milk and honey.  According to the writings of the Apostle Paul, the word milk simply means, the sincere milk of the word of God.  Also in accordance with the writings of the prophets, honey is enlightenment to the eyes, which simply means, visions and revelations of the word of God.  We, The Church of God, are now going forth reaping with the most glorious revelation of the word of God that has been in existence since the days of Christ.  Many reports are coming in off of the field since the 55th Annual Assembly that the great harvest has already begun to bless the church and house.  Let us support this with another Scripture, Joshua 5:12, "And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year." So in accordance with this Scripture, they were eating of the fruit of that land even though they themselves had not planted, they were blessed with the harvest of the crops.  The Scripture then states, "...that manna ceased."  Now, brother and sister, we have also come out of the wilderness and have set-up, with twelve stones, the first marker in Gilgal.  Today, however, these stones are living stones, the twelve apostles which make up the golden altar.

While writing this article, I just received a long distance telephone call, telling of a half dozen different locations calling for us to come.  They WANT to hear about this revelation.  Many of the people are saying this is that for which we have been looking.  We are in a battle and do not want to let up.  Let us be mighty warriors going forth to reap a great harvest, the Canaan land of this day.  It would be hard for me to describe the attitude of victory that our people left with from the assembly.  There is a mighty determination and willingness to put The Church of God into the whole world.  Let us win the lost and gather the sheep and have a BRIDE ready for the return of the Lord, A PERFECT CHURCH.
